Some weddings feel big even when they’re small. Christina and Michael’s day was one of those. Tucked into the hills of Orange, California, Orange Hill Restaurant hosted the most beautiful intimate ceremony with sweeping views, glowing late-afternoon light, and has an “I can pretend I’m somewhere else as I drink this spritz.

The ceremony took place on the restaurant’s open-air terrace, framed by panoramic views of the rolling hills and just the faintest summer haze. What I love about intimate weddings is how much space they give to feeling. There’s less rush and in that slower pace, you can actually feel the way two people look at each other.

One of my favorite parts of the day was sneaking away for a quiet golden hour portrait session just down the road. Christina and Michael were relaxed, completely present, and glowing—literally and figuratively.

Planning a wedding at Orange Hill Restaurant or dreaming up your own version of a California hillside “I do?”

I’d love to help you bring that vision to life—photographs that feel like you, start to finish.
